Learning the business from the bottom up, Mr. Karim El Reedy started working at the company’s warehouse at a very early age. Progressing quickly, he worked his way up the ranks, from laboring at the company’s storage facility to becoming Production Head. During this period, he learned the various jobs in the business, while mastering the vital internal know-how, from running the factory machinery to understanding the science behind Reedy Group’s products.
In those early years, Mr. Karim El Reedy broke records: he exceeded factory production goals; he crafted his first product—a hugely successful waterproof mascara; and opened three factories, manning them with the best engineers at the time.
He attended prestigious Griffiths College in Dublin, Ireland, then Academia Bahariya (Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport), studying Business Administration.
Afterwards, he returned to the frontlines of the company as a Manager in Fiancé. His efforts also launched Reedy Group’s Food and Direct Sale Sectors and, in 2004, he was featured as being one the youngest businessmen in Egypt; Mr. Karim Reedy was then 18-years old.
Since then, he has been involved in some of Reedy Group’s biggest movements: the selling of Fiancé to Indian company Marico; the acquisition of Dr. Shabrawishi, the leading cosmetic brand in the region; the restructure of the company and relaunch of beloved brands like Mink and Royal; and, most recently, the launch Reedy Development’s first premier project: Azzar.
